I'm sure you have all been wondering if I disappeared off the face of the earth, but just to let you know.......I am alive!

My life has been very busy with the speech competition, but now that that is over *ahem* state that is, I can work more on school! I love preparing, and competing in speech, it is so much fun! This year I placed in 4 out of 5 speeches, and qualified for Regionals with all 5.  A big "THANK YOU" goes to Mrs. Thomas, who has always been there for me whenever I have a question or need help in speech, to Lillian who was my duo partner and has been a great friend, especially at the tournament, to Mrs. Duke, who has always supported me, and drove out to the speech competition, just to watch me, Nicole who has been so involved in my speeches and came to calvary for the award ceremony. I love you! Also to my family who gave me so much good criticism, and to Lillian, Janie, Anna Kate, Brianna, Judith, Melissa, Ashley, Luke, Nicole, Alex, Joanna, and all you other people who made this tournament memorable! I wish all of you the best as you prepare for Regionals! And if you didn't compete, I just wish I saw you more!

Other than that I have been busy with school, ballet, piano, violin, choir, and trying in vain to see my friends! Coming up,  I have Regionals, 2 ballet recitals, a piano recital, choir performances, and um a dentist appointment.

Just for the record, I have the most amazing family in the world. Let me just say, they are not perfect,(although let "Any man who is without sin cast the first stone") but I love them so much, and I am excited every time I see them. I love you Joel, Beth, Evan, ?, Andy, Josh, Toni, Alette, Violet, Bethany, Steve, Halana, Bodan, Marin, Jordan, Joanna, Guillo, Bethany, Ethan, Luke, Jonathan, Abigial, Lydia, Corrie, Zachary, Gabriel, and everybody else that's related, but I don't have time to name. Someone I know (Hillary) does this thing called "someone special" at the end of her updates, and I thought I would use the idea for family members.

Joanna Grace Tarbutton Barona my beautiful sister is always positive, always has a smile, and never ceases to amaze  me

with her sweet spirit.  No matter what happens

to her, she always manages to get back on her feet, and I love her for it. She always encourages me to try hard and do my best in

everything I do, and is one of my

greatest supporters. She always comes to award ceremonies or other events when she can, and is always there for me. She is

married to my amazing brother(in law)

Guillo, and has a beautiful son. She has never been one who's happiness depends on their circumstance, rather she always has

something that she's thankful for. She is

such an inspiration, and I can't wait til I can drive and we can go out to Starbucks together!

MY LIFE RECENTLY  COULD NEVER BE DESCRIBED IN ONE UPDATE BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN SO EXTREMELY AND HAPPILY BUSY.

I GOT A HORSE!! Her name is Honey, she is a ten year-old Tennessee Walker. She is Palamino, and so beautiful. I got her about three weeks ago, and I still can't believe it, she is so smooth, and I love to lope on her.

I MADE IT TO NATIONALS!!  This year I competed in the Speech competition in Dramatic Interpretation, and I made it from state to regionals, to NATIONALS.  So next month (June 4th) I head off to Purceville, VA for a 5 day competition.. The speech I am competiting in has to do with abortion, and when the founder of Teenpact saw it he asked me to come do it for Teenpact nat'l convention next Tuesday (300 people) , and for the Atlanta Pregnancy Resource Center (50 people) banquet at the Sheraton downtown in 2 weeks. I still can't believe it, it's so exciting and scary at the same time. 

Thanks mom and Dad for the money, time and effort you put forth so much, and I really appreciate it!    I LOVE YOU

Thanks God for being there when my speech got stressful, and reminding me of what really mattered. I love you!

After I go to the Natonal competition my whole family is heading over to Washington D.C.!! I am so excited, we are spending 4 days camping at Washington D.C., then going over to Philidelphia, then going to Assateague Island to camp on the beach. Also some time in there we are camping at Shenendoah nat'l park to camp there a couple days. +

MY class has finished thier first semester of ballet with me as their teacher. They had their first recital last month and it went so well! I had so much fun teaching them but I hated to watch them go. I am still teaching during the Summer and Fall and hopeufully here on out. I enjoyed it so much. I LOVE YOU GIRLS!

In between everything else I am supposed to find time that doesn't exist to do my school!

Right now I am being a bad friend because I am doing an extremely long update while I sit next to my friend on her computer. But I'm not totally bad, because she is using this as an excuse to MAKE me listen to her country music.

 I can't think of anything else to babble on about, so hope you guys enjoyed hearing all about my very busy life.

*BIG BREATH*

Okay, I feel better now. I have been so busy lately it seems like I haven't even had time to sit back and think, and even breathe.

~ Teenpact was a lot of fun, and work. I did the homework, then for four days hung out around the capitol and learned about our GA government. I got elected Representative of my committee and got a pretty good homework/test score, so I was happy.~

~I am going to be a bridesmaid in April! I am so excited.~

~The first day of the Speech Compy/tourny was today, and I find out tomorrow how I did. It was so great to see Jane, and Marcie,  Amalia, and lots of other cool peoples ~

~My ballet class is going really well, the girls have learned about 3/4s of  the dance to "How Beautiful" They look beautiful when they dance, and I am so proud of all of them. I want to have a recital for them around the middle of May so I have been thinking of that recently.~

~School is not going well at all, I haven't done very much recently.~

~Today we were at Dekalb Farmers Market, and this Ethiopian (sp?) guy was staring at me, and asking my mumser all these questions about me.......and yeah.....great, not. Luke said he should have gone in. ~

~I really believe God is calling me towards missions, it seems like everytime I hear someone talk about missionaries, or mission work or anything related some part of my heart wants to be a missionary. And every time I feel like there's a scripture I am supposed to read it turns out to be like "Go into the world and preach to all nations"
or something like that. I really want God's plan for my life, so pray for me ( if you could) that I would not just do what I want to do but what HE wants me to do.~

               Well, I can't think of anything else going on in my life right now thats important to say to you, so now ends my long update.
